About GDEN

We are a group of young data scientists who focus on energy and environmental research over the six provinces on the Andaman coast of Thailand, namely, Phuket, Krabi, Phang-nga, Trang, Satun, and Ranong. We start with preliminary data exploration using graphs and then interpretation of target population from which those data are collected using a variety of statistical methods. Our data of interest range in scope, but not limited to, from satisfaction and perception survey in social science research to temporal and spatial data in remote sensing research. Scientific tools used are as existing tools in a everyday-use software like Microsoft Excel as well as R programming, an open source data analysis software for statistics and interactive graphs.

We believe that learning by doing is the best way to understand scientific stories and knowledge management by being together and helping each other is a simple approach to build up long-life network and collaboration. So, we mutually learn, do and transfer our knowledge to new enthusiastic young researchers (including students, staff, faculty, and organization) who will come to join our group or who will seek for consultants.

Above all, We Do What We Dream to Do, thoughtfully, that would be benefit to the mankind.
